FLCs (Financial Literacy Centers)

Under the roof of Financial Inclusion, NABARD has advised banks to develop Financial Literacy Centers. The centres will educate the people of remote village area for the various banking activities with pertain to savings, loan repayment practices covering knowledge of financial planning. Under this scheme bank has started the FLC Centres with the bank branches in Palanpur, Deesa, Dhanera, Tharad, Radhanpur, Vav, Bhabhar, Deodar, Kankrej, Santalpur, Vadgam and Dantiwada. The FLC coordinators are appointed for all centers. The coordinators are arranging seminars in their respective areas to educate the people for banking activities and development of financial habit. In result, many unbanked people connected with bank and learned the habit of banking and savings.

Training of PACS’s Secretaries

Bank arranges educational seminars and trainings of PACS Chairman/ Secretary for the development of PACS and linked them with trading and profit making activities. The seminars focus on business diversification, business expansion planning, new credit planning, and effective administration of societies. The seminars and training programmes are arranged at NICM, Gandhinagar with the support of NABARD.

Sneh Milan

Every Year, Bank organise sneh milan for new year greetings. It helps employees to understand Bank’s rate of growth and potential for improvement. Bank's higher management give insights into what steps made the bank more successful and which steps caused loss. it helps the employee and the board to decide the future course of action.

Seminar of bank employees

Bank has organised educational seminar for bank employees to educate new technologies adopted by bank.

Street Play

Under the roof of Financial Inclusion, NABARD and GSC Bank,Banas Bank organised the programme of street play ( Nukkad Natak ) that will educate the people of remote village area for the various banking activities.
